• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rock in Belt

Went for a ride today, came across some road work. They were putting down gravel and tar. When I got home I noticed a rock in the belt, it but a hold in the belt. I got it out, but should I keep an eye on the hole or replace the belt. Why isn't there a guard on the lower belt. I can see why it happened.:gaah:

Rock in belt

Definetly replace belt. Rocks are the biggest problem with belts. Your lucky it didn't break already. Happened on my Victory motorcycle. Also check pulleys. I didn't and blew belt four hundred miles later. $260 per belt. Learned my lesson the hard way.

If it were me I would buy a new belt and keep it with you and run this one till it's done. I changed out a belt for a guy and a month later he put another hole in the new belt. He wound up trading the Spyder in on a bike with a belt. :dontknow:

Contact SpyderPops, he has a new belt guard for the Spyder.
