• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RoboBracket

I just received and installed the RoboBrackets and like them. Beyond the need to shim the bottom screws (a few extra washers are included), it was a flawless installation. Customer support before and after the sale was great and I found the build quality to be very good. I purchased the entire kit with windshield and like the look and feel. It is nice to ride and not feel like I'm being pushed off the bike! ;)

I'm seriously considering this as my next mod. At 5'4" I am fine with the F1 EVOIII shield that we have, but my hubby at 6'3" with a short inseam and tall torso the shield is barely adequate for his needs... my thought is that might be just what we need. Has anyone hooked this up to an EVOIII shield. I am worried that the "wings" on the side of the shield might be an issue. Any thoughts?

dltang had the lower portion of her Evo III slider installed on the Madstad brackets for a while but the standard Madstad windshield provided better overall protection and riding feel than the larger Evo III shield. Tatt2r did some nice graphics on the Evo III shield and it's disappointing to see that just sitting in the garage and not on the Spyder.

I thought she had the EVO III on but I wasn't sure. Glad to know that it works. I will add this to my list of "things to buy". I can't afford to buy another windshield right now.

Got my Robobrackets yesterday and am hoping to try them out this weekend. Although it is a PITA to adjust, The ryde to work in cold (to me) weather was much easier than the stock windshield I had previously.

They were supposedly working on a different design that was much easier to adjust but would cost more. I haven't heard anything more about it though.

How true.
