The annual Roan Mountain Rhododendron Festival is scheduled for June 16-17 at Roan Mountain State Park off US Hwy 19E between Elk Park, NC and Elizabethton, TN. Nice cool mountain location up to 6,300 ft elevations with endless twisty roads for Spyder ryding!

We will be there for 4 days next weekend, so get in touch if you will be in the area.

Here's more info on the trip to Roan Mountain, not far from Lamont's stomping grounds and plus a great ryde called "The Snake" is close by, similar to the Dragon. We will be camping in the RV park near Pineola NC from Thursday until Monday.

The Festival is an annual event, held this yr on Sat & Sun, 6/16-17. It should be an interesting destination plus there are lots more interesting places to visit in the area. Here are some related links & pics... Send a pm if you will be around there.
