Road toadz VS Horny Toadz

I saw that on their web site, Frogg Toggs are listing the Road Toadz under "motorcycle", but many bike stores carry the Horny Toadz in stock.

Any can explain the difference between the two ?

Which one is best suited for motorcycle ?

I do have the Road Toadz and really like them. I've been in some downpours and they kept me dry. Never heard of the Horny Toadz. :dontknow:

I agree. I have had Frogg togs products for years, actually only two sets, but years of use. Never heard of HT

Seriously....I DO have Horny toads and I didn't go back to check the website, but I THINK the foot straps might be a unique feature.

I went to the Frogg Toggs website for those interested. They list both Road Toads and Horny Toadzs. The specs seem to be similar. The price for HT is $69.95 for jacket and $49.95 for pants, the RT set is $49.99 for jacket and $19.99 for pants.

My wife and I just upgraded to the Horny Toadz line and love the new product. Works as good and we think better than their previous stuff.

WOW. I sent an email to Frogg Togg's customer service and I received a response about 20 mins later. Talk about good customer service !

Here's their response:

The main difference is the material that they are made of. The Road Toad is made of our Classic Polypropylene material. The Horny Toadz is made of our Toadz material which has a Polyester outer layer. I would recommend the Horny Toadz for motorcycle riding as the more durable suit.

To help other forum members, here's an other response from Frogg Toggs's customer service after I asked about the difference between the Horny Toadz and the Highway Toadz:

Their answer:

They are different styles. The Highway is a Parka Style jacket which is a little longer and doesn't have an elastic waist band. The Horny Toadz is a Bomber style with a wide elastic waist back and is a little shorter. I would recommend the Highway over the Horny Toadz only because it offers more coverage. Either jacket will be great for Motorcycle use.
