• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Road Test

Anyone know what you have to do on a NYS road test for a Spyder?

Thanks Jeff

Jeff,

I took the 2 day course in BK on a two wheeler and at the end of the 2nd day they give you a road test at the site. when you pass you get a full motorcycle road test waiver that you turn into the DMV for a license. This way I could ride whatever type of motorcycle I want (not just a trike endorsement), don't have to worry about getting the spyder to the DMV and also the instructors that have been teaching you are the ones giving the test. Plus it was lots of fun and really informative on the safety aspect.

Not a clue for three wheels. I am as curious as you are!

The BRC class is fun. I do recommend it, especially if you have not been on two wheels.

I took the class with "Big Apple" but the wife has no interest in 2 wheel so I will take her for the road test. Just wondering what to prepare her for. Thanks for the suggestion.

There are practice skills exercises in the owners manual. I'd say that if she can master those, she can pass the test with ease.
