• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

road safety course for spyder

Does anyone know if BRP is offering a road safety course for new spyder owners? I just took and passed my motorcycle safety course over the weekend. So, I am now waiting to receive my spyder hopefully this week. The course encouraged SAFETY, SAFETY AND MORE SAFETY. The spyder handles differently than a motorcycle and the instructors from the weekend did not know anything about the spyder. I am excited but I just want to be safe and get as much practice as possible before I hit the highways and show off my new WOLVERINE!!!!! Any sugestions???????:2excited::yes:

There are suggested practice exercises in the user manual. It is pretty much the same thing you practice during your course.

It is a good idea to go to a large empty parking lot and practice breaking and turning at various speed to get more comfortable!

:agree: Watch the video, read the book, buy some soccer cones, then practice a while before you hit the streets. After her MSF course my wife did a few days of parking lot practice, then snuck around some back streets in the neighborhood before hitting any major roads or the highway. Worked great for her.

A few months back there was a 3 wheeler course being offered at a college in Rochester, NY that was being taught by an MSF instuctor; I posted here about it. The course was canceled due to lack of interest. I was thinking of contacting the person again to see if he was going to try and put another one together.
