• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone have the RIVCO armrest installed on their RT? How do you like them? Would you buy them again? :dontknow: Thanks Tom. :spyder:

Saw them at the Ultimate Seats demo area last week. Look very nice, not inexpensive. I will likely let the wife test them before buying, they are nice looking.

Tom,
Depends on what your wanting, if all you want is a place to rest an arm they are OK. The weak aspect is the mounting. They attach to the plastic on the inside of the speaker housings on the RT. They are not designed to have much weight placed upon them. Definitely not meant to use your arms and the armrest to re-position yourself in the rear seat.
Buy them again, probably not...

We have them on our 2014 RTL and they look great, however as mentioned, the mounting is not designed to support much weight. They seem a little low for my wife to be really comfortable, so before Spyderfest, I plan on making a bushing/riser to them and adding about 2-3" of height. Would we purchase again? Probably!

added some last year for the wife. she likes them because some of the other ones are much higher and just were not comfortable to her. even got them the color to match the ultimate seat.

Tom,
Have you investigated the BIG BIKE PARTS version?
Mike

Just saw them. Seems like they mount the same way as the RIVCO does. Value Accessories has both of them. I guess a call is in order. Tom :spyder:
