I have a block riser that the dealer says is 2" and bought the ESI 3" risers, giving me 5". I thought there wasn't going to be enough cable but cutting some ties I had enough. The only thing I can't do is roll them back towards me, which was fine for me just where they are. I can adjust my mirrors to see under my risers and plan on getting the mirror extensions just the same. The extensions won't interfere with the windshield, that is the Madstad Robobracket.
Once getting the risers, I needed a more comfortable seat and found a Corbin seat in the For Sale/WTB boards and got a great deal on a brand new seat. With the risers and stock seat, I was sitting on my tailbone and had to stop often. So depending on what risers you get, for greater comfort on longer rydes, you may want to think about a more comfortable seat, mirror extensions and windshield. The Madstad is adjustable and instead of buying others that I most likely wouldn't like, I bought this one that can be adjusted to whatever position I want.
