Sure about that Bob? I thought it was Azusa Cyn Rd. Its definitely not Rim of the World Hwy because that road has stone guard rails. I thought the neighborhood scene three wide may have been Azusa, Hwy 39. They may have gotten the F3 and Slingshot at Berts Mega Mall just down the road. Don't forget the Mega Run there May 9 BTW. If you look at one scene you can see the ocean not far in the distance. That's why I think it is Mulholland.

3 Wheel Car

I'm not fully understanding how the slingshot is compared to the Spyder. The Spyder is a bike, and the Slingshot is by all definitions a car or automobile. Both toys I guess, but not really similar.

I don't believe the Elio will ever make it into production. If it does it will cost much more than what they have advertised ($6800). In any case the Elio is nothing more than a very small commuter car that happens to have 3 wheels. It is not fast and from the videos I don't think it is any more maneuverable than a regular compact car. So - apples and oranges.

Elio....'we will start production in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016'. 'We will stop taking advance reservations in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015....'.
