• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Riding two up.

A back rest for both you and your passenger is what it takes… Just write the checks… Alternatively, you could swap the RS for a RT, then you would just need a back rest for yourself…...:dontknow:

I added the passenger footpeg extensions to my GS. Keeps her knees from being bent so far, and now she can use her feet to keep from leaning on me.

my wife and i ride together all the time and have no problems with any weight shifting...we have a rts so it is a bit heavier....did you try pumping your air ride up .. we run at about 3/4 full

wind freaked him out !!!!!!! ha ha ha thats a new one... he must have had his fingers in his ears thats why he kept shifting forward...lolol

2upn

nothing better than getting a back massage on a long ride. Otherwise my better half never slides into me unless I'm braking hard.

The atomic headbutt!

My old lady is brutal. She headbutts me all the time!

I told her, one of these days she's going to rabbit punch me with her helmet, knock me clean out, and we are gonna end up into a G_d d__n bridge abutment!

Shes trying to be better, but she leans into me when we corner. Maybe the drivers seat back is the way to go,...

I see you are riding a RS. I started with an RS and am now riding a RT. On the RS, I would find when we stopped, I was falling forward. And I was holding on. (I PROMISE!) My problem was that the RS put my feet behind me so I was already kind of leaning forward. My hubby made floor pans that attached to the driver foot peg and went forward. He put a "lip" on the back of the pan. It was at the perfect height and length that I could put my feet forward and rest the ball of my foot on the back of this pan. That way when he stopped, I had something to brace against and I quit falling forward when he stopped.

Look into passenger floorboards for the RS. I bought a pair from Rivco, totally help the GF keep stable back there, even when I'm riding without my driver's backrest.

That, and simple training/awareness. I coached her from day one on how to act when I need to stop in a hurry, then ran out to the parking lot to practice emergency stops. Knowing how it "feels" for the both of us helped removed the surprise element from emergency stops (and trained her to slide her head a bit to my side to avoid helmet knock ;)).

Twice I have had my passenger slam into my back. I have an RTS with a Utopia drivers back rest. The first time this happened our entire group had to do a hard stop and we all almost stacked up on each other........this I understand why my passenger went forward.

The second and LAST time it happened with this person....I was told later that she was TEXTING.........not even holding on or more importantly not watching the road for curves, swerves, etc.

:banghead:

All of my riding is 2 up. Never had that problem. Maybe having the passenger footpeg extensions helps. It allows your passengers feet to be forward about 5 inches creating a more stable ride. Just a thought.
