WE have been riding since the 15th. We have ridden on every type of weather! We have had lots of snow, rain, hail sunshine and wind ---- and that was the first day! The other 6 days have been all sun and pleasantly cool. We have been in a hotel two days and camped the rest. Our trip took us first to southern California and then out to I-40 where we have stayed except for a short side trip for Vegas for one night. Today it is on to Oklahoma City and on to Branson Monday! Yesterday we planed on camping here in Tucumcari, NM but at 4:00 the winds really picked up! After an hour of the scariest white knuckle riding we gave up and pulled into the first Tucumcari exit and checked into a hotel. Ride safe my friends!
