• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Riding The Dragon No Traffic

We are very lucky to live in northeast Tennessee and we can run up to The Dragon for the day or many other fun roads to ride. We just found out that we live on the Copperhead Rd Loop which is featured on one of the motorcycle maps. We rode The Dragon last week to go to the Tapaco Lodge for lunch which is just 3 miles past Deals Gap by the Dam. If you get a chance to go there for a meal it is really good and you can sit outside right on the river, it is gorgeous.

We ride it more than I like. We rode the Snake US421 this past weekend. It was really fun.

I did my first trip on the Snake last Friday and enjoyed it very much. Did a long 400 miles chasing some two wheelers.

I' will have to put the Copperhead Rd Loop, and "The Tail of the Dragon", The Snake" on my bucket list. Thanks for the pictures! Deanna

I rode the Dragon and Hwy 28 to Fontana Dam last weekend. Did the Dragon at 7:00 am, before it got crowded. The road was much better than I expected. Very nice manageable curves that can be taken with decent speed. First time I've done it, and will do it again. Hwy 28 is a beautiful ride from Deals Gap to Fontana Dam. Highly recommended.

DRAGONS TAIL

I rode the tail several times on my Goldwing and twice on my RT. The Spyder did great on the curves and had no problems. But I still enjoy riding It much more on two wheels..

Other good roads in the area

These are some other good roads that I have found. Some better than others but all worth riding

The Devils Triangle
Cherohola Skyway
Six Gaps
The Rattler
Diamond Back
The Devils Whip
Back of the Dragon

One place that is well worth visiting is
Wheels Through Time Museum

Tapoco Lodge is a really fine place. Have overnighted there many, many times.

Glad you had fun. I have ridden most of the roads in that area, but i am not familiar with the Copperhead Rd. Loop. Where is this located?
