• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RIDING OR TRAILERING?

Will be trailering in my new Work and Play toy hauler. Then on to Charlotte NC and the down to FL and key West then back to Tucson AZ. Will be staying in the Toy Hauler with one of my Giant Schnauzers.

Would love to connect

We are riding from Great Falls, Mt.... I would be great to connect along the way and ride together to Springfield.....

Just an FYI...I get into Springfield 2-3 days before SF starts...I enjoy every aspect of Spyderfest and helping with the set up and folding shirts is amazingly FUN :roflblack::roflblack: oh yea and then there is the little thing of picking up my new '14 RTS from Pitbull Powersports. BUT aside from that if we can coordinate I would love to ryde with...stay in touch. Check out heartofwashington.org  put on your calendar...
:yes::yes:

Riding for sure. I'm like the mailman neither rain, nor sleet nor snow (not a little snow anyway) will keep me from riding.

Ryding with trailers

I see a lot of people are ryding and towing a trailer....I will be doing the same. Question I have is, will there be somewhere that we can put our trailers for secure storage while at SF? That way we can drive around and do the road trips in the area and not have to drag the trailer along.

Where to leave trailer...

At most events, people just leave their trailers in the hotel parking lots, then you'll always have a parking space. They also lock the wheels or lock two or more together. I've even seen them locked to a light pole. Not to alarm you, but if someone wants your trailer they'll get it.

Some people never disconnect their trailer.

I never unhook mine. You never know when you might find something you want to throw in the trailer. Love having a trailer with me.:doorag:

:agree: Most folks had some manner with which to secure their trailers. Wheel locks, hitch locks and chains...

Or you can always chain Snoopy to the trailer to protect it. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Bad Dog. :yikes:

We will be hauling ours in an enclosed trailer . I don't like riding a dirty bike and prefer having them in the trailer at night. Thanks honey ;) On some trips we've even put the bushtec trailer in the bed of the truck to hook up if we are going to be away from the main hotel for a few days. Having said that, we just finished riding the lower 48 states this year. Over 36,000 miles on my 08 and so far 21,857 on my 2010  Guess I need to color in the rest of the 48 states......honey........ ;)

truck/trailer parking

Just thought i would offer my place to park your trailer and truck so you could have the best of both worlds. I live 100 miles east of St Louis just off interstate 64. It is six-seven hour ride into Springfield. We have plenty of room for all kinds of rigs. Leesa and I plan on going to spyderfest on Monday.
if interested pm me.
Jerry
