• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Riding in the Ozarks

We just spent 2 weeks south of Branson MO riding our brains (what little their is) out. I have been to the rockies both in the US and Canada, spent last summer riding Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine and this rates right up there as far as a wonderful place to ride. The scenery is greatly different than in the west but equally as pleasing For any of you that have not been to the area I would highly recommend it for a riding vacation.

There are all kinds of campgrounds and motel in the area so I won't even suggest where to stay. A booklet is available from any of the tourist information places that maps out several excellent rides starting in Harrison AR. Ride some of them or just take off. The roads are for the most part in excellent shape and you will hardly find 1/2 mole of straight road anywhere. Gas is plentiful in most towns but food in only the bigger towns. Just plan accordingly. Southern Missouri or Northern Arkansas, you can't go wrong.

Just spent a week in Eureka springs, AR riding around and went up the Pig trail twice and also down twice.
Lots of Great roads up in that area.

Yup! You figured that one out.

If I lived closer, I'd invest in this guide. Researched it twice after two Spyderfests.

Yeah. That one covers a lot wider region than the one we used. With that one you could find rides anywhere in Arkansas. Surprisingly wherever I asked, Missouri doesn't seem to have a motorcycle specific guide. To bad. They may be missing out on tourist dollars. They have some great riding country.

:dontknow: The guide is ok but having no destination & just zigzagging across the area was quite enjoyable for me personally :firstplace: & I was stuck in company truck first time round, have managed few main areas on bike lots more to explore & wander :ohyea::ohyea::clap: . Hopefully very soon on my way to, or back from SpyderPops :doorag:
