• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Riding boots

The Chippewa boots are fantastic. Bought them when I had my road glide. Easy on and off. Warm and dry. Made in America. Other pair I use is the SWAT boot. Both are great for walking when you get to a rally.

& from boots to rain gear? Frog togs do me good so far, pack up small bout size loaf of bread fyi.

Bates SWAT Boots mentioned. Red Wing "work boots" used to be good. I have had mine for years or so, engineer style

For years I used a pair of Navy issued flight boots for riding, then changed to Bates lightweight zippered boots in 2008. Because of problems I have with my right foot from my leg and foot being crushed in an accident in 1980 I've had to give up on those boots and am currently using New Balance sneakers. I'm hoping to find some short boots that I'll be able to use soon. It's very difficult for me to find anything wide enough, though.
