• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anybody on here also noticed how ridiculous the prices are at the dealerships where you bought your Spyder? For the nine thousand mile check up the manager wanted $400 plus parts

my theory............

IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT.

change oil and filters, and keep an eye on stuff. Fix it if it needs to be fixed.

YES

Yes, everyone has been a victom of the
staggeringly high cost for service
I think BRP & their dealers think they
are in the same class as Ferrari.
Many if not most folks learn to do their own
service work,
Hey on the up side... we do love our Spyders

hell just had some work done to the car and most was covered under warranty but some maint stuff was over 500 bucks..Nothing is cheap anymore ..:yikes:

$506

heading to Nova Scotia on the 10th... had my SPYD3R serviced last week, it took 2 hrs to: mount a new rear tire, oil & filter, tranny filter, gas filter, all for a measly $506... that tranny filter is a killer... $100+ just for that...

Yes, "we do love our Spyders". When you talk about the "cost of maintenance", just ask yourself "How much have I spent on FARKLES?" I just dropped nearly $600.00 yesterday on "stuff" to make my wife more comfortable as a passenger. At least that is my excuse.
