• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:spyder: I live in Macungie, Pa, any other Spyder riders in this area. It's tough for me to ride all day on the weekends. I play golf in the mornings but my wife and I would like to meet other riders to get together with for a ride and lunch or dinner.:2thumbs:

Thanks for the welcome.

:2thumbs: Thanks to all the members for their welcome to such a wonderful club. I've been logging in miles and rideing on some cold mornings. My wife is getting the hang of it, she just needs more time on the :spyder:. Cant's wait for warmer weather and some long rides. Everyone ride safe and :2excited: to be a member of something so cool.

:congrats:welcome:congrats:
Get some cones, go to a vacant or unused parking lot, take turns practicing going around them, it can be fun, and you'll both get comfortable on the Spyder without having to put up with traffic. Have a blast, ryde safe.

Where is Macungie? I live in MD and rumor has it there are a few of us around...although it really seems like only a few...seems like the Spyder is quickly becoming a west-coast thing. :sour:

My dealer says they've sold the majority east of the Mississippi.

:spyder:I'll be picking up my yellow SM5 in central Iowa in a week or so. I'm kinda happy there's not many around here YET. I like to be a trend setter. Only yellow Hummer, and now the only yellow Spyder. Can't wait. Would like to join in on a ride sometime. Algona, IA

Seems reasonable to me based on my unresearched / unscientific survey of the locations of many of the SpyderLovers that seem to post regularly. :D

Macungie

Macungie, is located outside of Allentown, PA. Other towns are Fogelsville, Trexlertown, and Emmaus. The dealer in our area is Blackmans Cycle and they are the best. I've been told by one of the salesman, they have sold around 50 or so. I was there the other day to talk to someone about the RT-S and another one had a sold sign on it and one guy was making a deal on a blue one they had sitting there. A rep. told me they are having Can-Am in the last three days of October and they will have one of the tour models there for test drives. I told him I'll be back one of those days to sit down and make a deal.

If I get back there again next year, I'll look you up! Was back near you this summer-- up north of Scranton but got there via York, Harrisburg, and also spent a day out at Kutztown. Great riding country you have there!
