• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Riders from the Texas Hill Country to Spyderfest

I am thinking about going to Spyderfest, and am wondering if any of the owners in/around San Antonio are considering going. It would be nicer to ride in a group than doing the 700+ miles alone. Are there others from Texas that I could meet somewhere along the route?

Well I've heard rumors of a showdown being put on by the Texas spyderlovers..... Any Texas folks care to chime in????

Texas BBQ sounds good to me!!!!!!! 1st ya marinate the cook.... then dry rub the briskets to season..... cook them with oak wood at 225* for 18 to 20 hours.... 6 hours before they are done... put the chickens on the pit.... start using pecan wood to cook the chickens and sweeten the briskets....3 hours before the briskets are done.... put the sausage on the pit.....continue using pecan wood and oak wood. pull everything off the pit... cut it all up..... and let the feast begin!!!!!!!! Yep... Texas BBQ sounds GOOD to me!!!!!!!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish I could bring my pit.... but it's 15 ft long, 14 foot high sitting on the ground, and weighs 7000 pounds.... the stack goes through the roof... makes it real hard to move..LOL
