I've been a subsciber to Rider magazine for many years and have particulary enjoyed the articles and reviews by Clement Salvadori. Last week, my wife and I were riding in Colorado, and were about 1/2 mile from our destination hotel when the skies opened up. As we pulled under the entry canopy, we were greeted by a group of motorcycle riders, one of whom was Clement. I didn't recognize him at first as he wasn't wearing that trademark beret, but he introduced himself and we spoke for some time about the Spyder.
He hadn't ridden one since the introduction, but was very interested in the changes I had made to make it a comfortable long distance tourer. Over the next few days we got to know him and the group better and enjoyed their company very much.
If you're not a regular reader of Rider magazine or Clement, I recommend that you try them out.
