• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rider comfort

Rode an RT yesterday and was extremely impressed with everything except the drivers seating position. Although I'm only 5'9" with a 29" inseam my legs felt very cramped. I currently ride a HD Ultra Classic where I can just lean back and put my feet up on road pegs.

On the other hand, my wife absolutely loved the Spyder. Said it's the most comfortable passenger seat since out Goldwing.

The salesman seemed to think there was an aftermarket road peg that would allow me to stretch out. I saw a post from a guy who fabricated his own, but wondered if there is anything else.

Does anyone else find the RT cramped? Any other solutions? I would really like to own the RT but I'm afraid that I won't be comfortable, especially on long, multi-day trips.

Great site, all the other Spyder riders at the dealer in Tampa kept referring to Spyderlovers.com. I can see why.

Hi Mike,

I have an RT and have issues with my aging knees over long periods. I purchased the highway brackets along with pegs from Kewl Metal. While I am currently having issues with the pegs that I purchased, they seemed to have done the trick. No more sore knees after extended trips. Good Luck with your decision. I have not regretted mine.
