• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anybody up for a ride this weekend? If you have a passport a good ride to Quebec and back is a good one. From Newport to Houlton is a good ride. Newport to down east or mid coast is good. To the white mountains and back is a good ride. What do you think? Bruce

There is a ride to Mt. Washington this Sunday by the New England Spyder Ryders. I'm pretty sure they are meeting the Christmas Tree Shop in N. Conway at 9 AM. Not sure if I'll be able to make it. I'f someone knows all the details please correct.:dontknow:

This is the ride I will be doing on Saturday. Leaving Tim Hortons in Newport around 8:30 ish. Heading out route 2 to Gilead,(past Bethel) then down route 113 down to Fryburg and back. This will take most all day. Meet at Tim Hortons around 8:00 ish. Bruce

ride

If I still lived in Houlton instead of Knoxville, TN, I would join you in a heartbeat. Another good ride would be to Yorks in Perth-Andover (I'm drooling). But if you ever get down to Tenneessee, look me up.

Gorcutt, that would be great. Meet around 9:15 to 9:30 at the new gas station by the new bridge. AbbottRyder won't be able to make it. Bruce

Had a great ride Saturday with Gorcutt and Sandman and my son. I went 285 miles. I have to report my gas mileage for this trip. It is hard to believe. Was full when trip started, topped off tank at 113 miles, took. 2.8 gallons. I fill tank like I always do. Topped off tank when I got home, took 4.9 gallons, mileage was 172 miles. Most of the time we were traveling between 50 and 60 miles per hour. I did travel 50 miles on the interstate traveling home, speed was 71 mph. 113 miles divided by 2.8 = 40.4 mpg. 172 divided by 4.9= 35 mpg. I burn 87 octane. I was in disbelief. I usually average with all around speeds is 33 mpg.:yes::yes: I have a 2011 RTs. SM5, just turned 32,000 miles. Keep on Ryding. Bruce

That is very good gas mileage. You run 87 octane? I try it a couple time and the engine do not seem to respond well. So I use 91 most of the time. I have 31000 miles. :ani29:
