• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Ride on

I was wondering for those that use Ride on in the spyder wheels did you use a motorcycle dosage or a car dosage?

Ride On - which type?

I plan to use the Ride On tire sealant also. Given the type of tires that the Spyder uses, do you use the motorcycle type or the automobile type?

I used the auto.

Lamonster, Magic said you and he both removed your wheel weights before you added the RideOn? Also, how long of a non-stop ride is required so this stuff doesn't pool and dry?

I used the auto too.

Same stuff different package and size bottles is all I can see.

There is no way the product can tell what "kind" of tire it is in, and there is no real differance in how a auto tire is made as to a Spyder tire from a holding air stand point. As far as leaks a hole is a hole from a sealing stand point too.

As for balance, I never noticed a real pooling up of product myself and it was not even a mile or two on the first ride until everything was smooth and balanced on my Spyder.

I am sure there is some pooling the first few times out, but it was never a problem or even noticed on my bike.

So it never dries? I know some of these products dry sfter application and can be a problem if it doesn't dry until after you parked your vehicle for the night. Pools up and dries at the lowest parts of the tire.

I emailed Ride-On about what to use, and here is their reply.

For your Can Am Spyder, I would suggest that you use the Ride-On TPS Auto formula.
I believe that the following tire sizes are accurate; however, if they are not, please contact me with the right ones.
Auto Formula dosages for Can Am Spyder:
165/65R/14: Normal - 10 oz. / Severe - 13 oz.
225/50R/15: Normal - 14 oz. / Severe - 18 oz.

I have ordered enough for two cars plus the Spyder. This stuff is a bit pricy but I have used it in my motorcycles and have yet to need tires balanced and have never had a flat.

It should be noted that Ride-On TPS will never dry while inside your tubes or tires. It is the norm to ride you bike or whatever, just after treatment, for at least 5-6 minutes to get the product to move about to where it will normally find itself while you do your everyday riding. This first ride action on your part will better able Ride-On to instantly flow about better balancing your tires. Doing this first ride will apply a thin coating where the protection area should be. There will be far less surface tention between inside the tire/tube & the free flowing product after your first 5-6 minute ride.

As so far as removing your earlier balance lead, that is your call. I have found wheel/rims to be out of balance not just tires. Those that use fancy metal pressure sendors & ornamental metal valve stem caps may need a little lead to offset those heavy spots. Just ride it first then you will know.

I am a huge fan of this Ride-On TPS. It will help the rider earn extra mile on your tires & I believe lessen injuries & save lives.

I have never seen a single product made for the personal riding industry that will do so much pure safety w/o any negative side effects.

No, I am not getting paid to render this up to anyone.

I have met Alex & can only say that he is a most honest man & also believes in Ride-On TPS.
