Ride-On

I put Ride-On in my RT tires on Sunday. 13 oz front and 18 oz rear.
20lbs air front, 30 rear, I did not remove the wheel weights .
Doesnt do too bad but I feel some "wobble" or maybe it is slight bouncing?? now, not real bad but definitely is there.

Any ideas? Remove weights? Lower front tires to 18lbs? I was thinking maybe with 20 lbs in the front that I am just feeling the road more...
I appreciate any input.

I agree mark the stick on weights were they go and what side with a magic marker, then careful remove them. if it doesn't change it reinstall the same amount of weight in the same spot with new weights from a parts store, and get ride of that stuff.....lol not a big fan of that kind of product...it always does this everytime i try it:gaah::gaah::gaah:

Have you tried "that stuff"?

I have never had a flat tire on a vehicle in over 40 years of driving and I heard the ride on does not like Cold temps we have in the North EasT?:dontknow:

All better now.

I removed the weights, set front tires at exactly 18lbs and it seems to be good now.

More Wobble

When I accelerate rapidly from a standstill I have a wobble, then it goes away. Did those of you that have Ride On take the weights off of your rear wheel too? I am starting to regret buying this stuff, but maybe it's just me.......:dontknow::dontknow:

Don't blame the Ride-On. My wife's Spyder is smooth as silk without the wheel weights. I thought the same thing as you since I had a wobble. Turned out that both of my front rims were bent/out of round! All is well now with no weights, and of course new rims!

Did warranty cover the rims?
It seems that after about 10 miles it gets better. Does the Ride have to "re-balance"after the bikes sets for a week?

It probably would have but I ended up getting a good deal on the 6 spoke rims, which I had been wanting to get anyway. It all worked out in my favor!
There are about 10 weights on the back rim, do you think I should take them off? front are off.

I installed Ride-On two weeks ago after mounting new front tires. I asked the tech to spin my rims to ensure they weren't bent. One was bent, but I was able to find a used replacement locally.

After mounting the tires, we balanced them and added weights (1.5 oz on one, 2.5 oz on the other). I ran it like that for two days and then added the Ride-On.

Even with the weights, I can't tell it's in there. Even after sitting a few days, there's never any wobble.

I'm running 13oz of the Auto formula in each wheel. It's always hot here, so maybe temperature has an effect on viscosity. :dontknow:

I can believe Ride-On will help true-up a wobbly tire, but can't believe it will interfere with one that's perfectly balanced.

It was 53 degrees this morning and I did not ride more than 15 miles. It only did it with much acceleration and it seemed to do it at 48-52 mph. I plan to ride further tomorrow and take rear weights off. It goes in for 3,000 mile service Monday and I want to be able to tell them what I have going on. I am concerned now about the cold fall mornings when I want to ride 25 miles to work.

I'll ride down to about 20 degrees and it will take a few miles before it smooths out but it always smooths out. You should be fine.

Thanks! Want to make sure I have a smooth ride to the BBQnojoke
Do you think that I should take the rear weights off? about 9 of them in a row on rear wheel.
