• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ride-On Help

There was a post to the effect that Ride-On shouldn't be used in very hot dry areas.......... I searched for over an hour couldn't find anything. I guess I need search lessons? Any help is appreciated.

I'd look it up for you; but, I'm too lazy tonight. Anyhow, I think it was Jerbear who started that thread.

If you want to search, be careful of spelling. As an example, if it was written as ride on and you use a hyphen, it may not show the thread; just like for brakes and breaks.

Oops, it wasn't Jerbear who started it.

When searching for ride on, it's best to put it in quotes with a plus sign such as "ride+on". Of course, someone will say the quotes aren't necessary; so, try it both ways.

never heard of that. I run with ride-on, did Montanna and area over 30 degree temps. only issue i had was trying to find a gas station open on the weekends past 400 pm. P.S. that is also where I found out what the spyder will do speed wise. Ha ha ha .

We've never had any problem using Ride On in Florida...it's certainly hot (but humid, not dry) here. It seems to me someone had complained it can dry out in hot temps. Folks either seem to be proponents of using it, or not.
