Talking with my buds at the speed shop over there and he told me that the local PD got a fleet of Spyders for patrol. That's awesome! Here's a pic I found...

RS models, plus interestingly enough they've got (aftermarket) top boxes and if my eyes squint hard enough, looks like they've installed risers, too.

Hope they don't have to start it before chasing the bad guys. By the time nanny goes through all her test and such the bad guys will be long gone and in the next county. But never the less I believe a much safer ride and a whole lot more fun plus they get to enjoy the wow factor.

I was told the University of Minnesota had or was thinking about a couple Spyders but I have not seen them.
