after a full day of ryde, i do like or at least can live with the rise 2" block has given me and turning handle bar IS easier with the riser block. i can take the turns and curves with ease and has taken alot of weight off of my hands.
a big :2thumbs: up for the riser. i did struggle with the 2 bolts those are hard to get to without the low profile ratchets but after 2 hours of trying alot of things, i eventually figured out a easy way to do it. i stuck the larger allen wrench that came in spyder tool set in 10mm socket all the way and that was just enough to get the 2 lower bolts out. if only i had that idea to begin with i could have saved almost 2 hours...
anywho, riser itself would get 10 thumbs up if i had them
i was wee bit worried about dealing with something important as steering part of the spyder myself but, with anything you do for the first time, it is no big deal after you done it once and it really does not involve much risk. you are simply taking the cover off and put a spacer and putting the cover back on.
with 2" block, i did not have to pull on any cables for more slack neither.
