• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

problems with reverse

What year & model of Spyder do you have?

Are you a new owner?

Make sure you depress the R button squarely and fully.

2015 rs, yes I'm new to spyders....it has worked fine in the past, then 1 day nothing.
Thought maybe there was a fuse or something simple I was missing.
Thanks for the input.

this worked for me

I was having the same problem with my 2014 RT/S. I just got off the phone with someone in the service department here locally. He recommended I hold the reverse button, then just "flick" the gear switch to reverse. I know it sounds crazy. But I tried it, and it worked right away, like just minutes ago. Just a quick flick of the gear switch (holding reverse button).

Hope it helps you like it did me!!

Thanks for the advice......I will try again.

The key, is in making sure that you've got a nice, HEAVY thumb on the reverse button! nojoke
It can be easy to rock your thumb off of it, when finding the downshift paddle.

reverse problem

Happy to report the reverse is working fine, just more practice, it has to be in 1st gear, then you push the button and press down again, then pull up to go back into 1st, and away you go........
Thanks for all the suggestions
