• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rever and AccuWeather on BRP Connect

Just starting to learn/play with BRP Connect on the F3-L.

I got the apps loaded and the iPhone talking to the bike via USB. I started AccuWeather and saw only MinuteCast and a couple of other forecast choices. No radar map, which is what I would only need to see on the infotainment screen.

As to Rever, got that loaded and can find my pre-designed routes. Looks like the choices are My Routes, POI, and local routes. I select a route but can not find how to start navigation. Other than a clock that takes up the whole screen. What am I missing? Are there paid upgrade requirements to each app to get the features I'm looking for? I do get these features (radar, nav) on the iphone itself if I just mount it to the handlebar and don't have it communicating with the bike Thanks!

So far all Rever can do in the dash is track your ride. It's being updated and supposed to be out this summer. It also means BRP has to do their thing which isn't fast. I believe the Android phones show more Accuweather info in the dash but all iPhone users get it what we already know.

Bug BRP, email them every week. [email protected]
