• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Retirement

All that time to go fishing, boating, hunting, spydering, relaxing, travelling, target shooting, projects, odd jobs for the young 'uns, ............ And you still won't have enough time to do it all! But, if you can't get it all done today, there is always tomorrow!

Retirement is hard job, but somebody has to do it. You may be busier now, but you will be doing what you want to do, when you want to do it. My biggest problem is, if it wasn't for Friday night fish fries, I would be able keep track of what day it is.

One of my goals is to have to ask what day of the week is it :p

Tomorrow is my last day as an employee. I will be joining the retirement force :ohyea::yes::clap:

This will be the best day in my working life!!

If your experience is anything like mine you will be happy at first, then bored, then you will find something (or a bunch of things) to keep you busy and in the end you will have more on your plate than you did when you could use "working" for an excuse.

And, if the Better Half, is already keeping a "Hubby Do" list - WATCHOUT!!!!! :ohyea:

I retired June 1, 2011 and as I have said before: "It's like getting out of high school on summer vacation that is never going to end."

Happy Friday and last day of work for you. :congrats: you lucky dog (is it PC to call you dog?).

I'm not far behind you. My last day is 3/9/18 or possibly 1/12/18.

RE: Friday night fish fries: That is the one thing I miss from WI. We did them most Fridays and really miss the Walleye. I am NOT a fan of Salmon or Halibut.

UNHIJACK: Sorry.

This will my retirement song.

I ain't got no money, but I'm smiling anyway. I take a nap with my kitty cat, when I wake up I'm a smiling fool.

Well I do feel like a lucky dog as my company offered me a package that allowed me to retire 10 months before I planned  (happy hot dog dance)
