• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RESTRICTER PLATES

If they've got things bottled up; it's pretty tough to just go in and "gut" the system and actually get better performance...
Mess with one thing and you mess with three... :gaah:

BECAUSE IF THEY DO I WILL PULL THEM OUT AND GUT MY EXHAUST

If you pull the air box out [there is no restrictor plate] or use a free flow air filter and then gut the exhaust you'll lean out the fuel system even more than it already is. Then you'll need a Juice box to add more fuel.

Is your Spyder still under warranty? If it is, best be careful what you do. In the days when I used to go fast, turn left, we put K&N Air Kits on our bikes and F1R Pipes with fiberglass baffles. We would backfire the bikes intentionally to break up and blow out the baffles. This was a common practice and widely known (circa 1987 for me), and boy did they sound and perform GREAT! The funny thing is, the bike as it came out stock, was more than any average, individual could handle. I didn't need to modify it, I just wanted too. Probably why that experience with sport bikes ended badly. Like Bob Denman said "mess with one and you mess with three" ...at least. Get used to your screen going orange and gray with mode codes. I wish you luck on that project.
