• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Restored '72 ski-doo TNT. LOOK BOB & ROGER

Those 775s were pretty entertaining in a straight line! ;)
That's a beauty; too bad that it's overpriced beyond insanity! :gaah:
Hey did you notice how poorly the guy has it set up? Take a look at the picture of the secondary clutch. Notice how low the belt is riding in it!! That's HORRIBLE!!! You always set them up with the belt either right at the very tippity-top of the pulleys, or you might even let it peek out over the top. THAT gave you the best setup for the launch!

Maybe over forty years have zappedandcombined some memories but I thought his had a slide suspension

I checked out some pictures on the net (because you can believe everything you see on the net) and they all had bogies. Maybe he had a '73? I don't know if '73s looked like the '72 or not. I'm not good at remembering what body style went with what year. I do know I had a '73 TNT Silver Bullet and it had bogies. I have no idea what year slides were introduced and to what models.

1973 was the "year of the Silver Bullet".
The fan-cooled sleds were silver; the free airs were yellow, orange, and black...

if it looked like this one: 1972!

Good eye Bob. I didn't notice that, went back and looked. The adjustment is not even close.

The slides were optional...
I did not know that. I learned something today.

You are a mountain of information.

I actually mis-spoke about the slides... :opps:
Ski Doo built and sold the sleds with either bogies or sliders; you'd just have to find which one you wanted at the dealership.
(Scorpion did the same thing a bunch of years' later with their Para-Rail and Para-Slide systems...)

Welcome to MY world! :D Snowmobiling is the one sport that I carried with me from childhood, to oldpharthood!
We started in 1966...
