• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rest in Peace Gracie 4/??/2002 - 4/19/2013

Our thoughts are with you.

We know exactly how you feel as we had just lost our basset last October at the age of 14. It was not easy and we did not think we could get another one, until we found Molly a rescue basset. She is smaller so we are going to take her with this on our travels. Max never like the sound of the motorcycle but Molly does not seem to mind it, that is why we are thinking of getting a Sypder.

The only thing that keeps us going every day and heals the hurt is to think of all the good times we had.

and the new member of the family!!!! that helps a lot, doesn't it?

Thank you!

Reading all of your warming posts bring tears to my eyes. There is a hole in my heart that has departed with Gracie. However it gives me relief that she didn't suffer long and that we mad the right decision. Her brother and sister are being a great help as we have to move on in the hopes that it will get easier. They will join us at Maggie Valley.

As of now we are both looking forward to Spyderfest cleaning our spyders and packing.

Thank you all for your sweet and warming thoughts,
Leira

So sorry to hear this. You did the right thing by sending her over the Rainbow Bridge....

I have tears in my eyes remembering my Mollie whom I just had to send that way in January.... Every time I see her sister (who lives next door), I get really bummed.... I still have Rocky (beagle mix like Mollie, but not related biologically) and he's helped in easing that loss.... It still sucks....
