• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

fuel canister pushing somewhere between baggage .... mmm, not really fragrant.
have a fire extinguisher converted into a fuel canister and put in a PVC tube.
nice and clean .... no baggage that still smell like gasoline.
capacity: 2.8 liter ... is enough if the tank is dry.

what would be the shelf life of the gasoline stored in this container?

I would imagine the same as any stored gas.
What I used to do with canned gas on our jeeps was to keep the cans empty unless going on a long or remote trail ride.
At the end of the long ride all the canned gas goes in the tank to get used up first on the next ride.

It's a bit overkill and can be a hassle, but better than running out.

nice and simple ..... if you know you're hanging. 0.74 gallon under the trunk
pick. no sweat for the next gas station
just a little inventive and one can solve everything.

I'm a lockable aluminum case from 100 liters to make room hanging behind the spyder
This is a homemade mounting on the rear axle.
about the rarely doe as the orig hitch BRP.
I will post pictures when it is finished.
is again an alternatively one on a trailer.
It might be an idea for the rider who have too little luggage space, but a trailer carried away is not an option

Really like this idea for longer trips and touring in unfamiliar areas. Would like to see a well designed product like this made available by one of our enterprising vendors.

Nicely done..!!

that is great idea. If you don't do it yourself you could sell the idea, this could work for many touring bikes. We used to have a similar add on but mostly for tools. All those harley want-a-be's had large empty space on the left side and there were companies making boxes simulating the transfer case for tools or stuff.

also a nice solution! had first a similar solution.
but during weekends and holidays for several weeks, the four cases of the spyder max are loaded full of luggage.
It's fun when the canister can accommodate anywhere outside the spyder
one never knows when it is needed
