I got to Farmington, Mo, with enough time to get my Spyder in at Midwest Sports Center for an oil change and service. I also had them go ahead and replace the brake pad that was about gone. Now when I get home I'll install the 3 tires that are there and waiting for me and I'll be ready for my next trip. The dealership folks are great and are accommodating attendees pretty well. Vendors present are SpyderPops, Misty Mountain sheepskins, Rivco, Sue Hopper. (If I've forgotten anyone, I apologize.)
Last night, we met at Spokes, the restaurant adjacent to the host hotel, and enjoyed the food and each other's company. I got to meet lots of people who were new to me. Unfortunately, I could not access the wi-fi in my room, and couldn't get onto SpyderLovers until now. (Oddly, you could get a signal in the hall, but not inside that room.) The hotel was able to move me to a different room, and now I'm a happy camper.
Today we went on a long group ryde on some good rural roads with lots of twisties. I have no idea where we actually went, but the ryde was great, as was the fellowship at lunch time.
Tomorrow will be a poker run and BBQ. Mmmmm. . . .food!
