• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The crowd is big and the number of Spyders large.

The weather finally began to break and turn nice. About 52 -- 55 degrees with sunny skies today. It is going to get warmer as the week progresses.

Pit Bull Powersports has been overrun by Spyders everywhere... the overflow is parking on the grass area of the restaurant next door (with their permission).

Clothing is flying off the shelf at Pit Bull, and the line to get Elka shocks is continuos.

The "Village" for vendors is up and running today. The number of Spyders parked there were incredible to see. Nearly a full-house in the parking lot.

The lines appeared long, but brisk for the vendors installing their various products.

Overall a great showing here at Spyderfest. Definitely the Springfield / Ozark area knows there is something going on! You cannot go down any street without seeing Spyders everywhere. It is all good!

I have to say thanks to "2nd" for posting a pic; however apparently that was early in the day, because by noon or so there were considerably more Spyders there by then (plus I noticed the big-tent was not setup yet).

I didn't take pics on this trip yet; but will tonight, I promise.

Maybe others can post their pics on here to show just how many Spyders there are here. Truly a sight to see!

Good to know..!!

thanks for the update, news is scarce, everyone is busy or figure some one else is writing. Looks like it will be a great one..heard that they are fast running out of everything at pitbull..have a great time..all the best from here...!!:gaah:

It is safe to say... "sales are brisk"!

Sounds like a great time. Wish I could be there, but I am playing nurse to my wife. Her surgery on her foot went well. In a couple of months she'll be back on the Spyder! Keep the pics coming.

Sounds like Pitbull will be cleaned out by the time we get there tomorrow. Oh well, let's hope it is warmer by the time we get there.

Pitt Bull had plenty of everything except fresh people. They were dog tired at the end of the day and were installing my Elkas after closing time. A big thanks to the Pitt Bull crew for working so hard when overwhelmed with Spyders.

Jon from Elka gave me some tips on the Elkas as he installed them, Len even stopped by and lent a hand.

Glad to hear about the successful surgery. Give her our best. Did you get snow today, too? Sure make Spyderfest look good...even if it was cold there today.

The primary thing they are running out of at Pitbull's is time...even time to do things for which an appointment was made several weeks in advance. Too many people, too many Spyders, too little time to do everything.

Not liking the forecast I see for tomorrow. Will test out the Frogg Toggs I guess. We are about to head that direction, hope to get to Pitbull before 6pm, then hotel, park the trailer at the stadium and head for the racetrack. Looking forward to meeting new friends.:)

Friday was a bit on the humid side; the humidity was running through the parking lot like a favorite trout stream...:gaah:
PitBull ran out of shock relocation brackets, but more are on the way!
