• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Replacing my 2011 RT Limited

My dealer is giving me a super deal for trade in on my 2011 RT Limited for a brand new 2015 RT-S. On my 2011 I had to installed a Bajaron Sway Bar because I felt on high speed I was riding in the air. Did the new 2015 has the same issues? I am very excited, the bike is in a crate at the dealer. I should have it by Monday. Any tips coming out on an older Rt? Thanks.

I went from a 2010 to a 2014. The 14 needed a sway bar and shock spring stiffeners - but I'm a big guy, and I got tired of hearing the undercarriage scrape on heaves and other road issues... Shifting is smoother, and you check the oil under the seat.

Other than that, enjoy.

You will like the 2015 compared to the 2011 a lot. I have never used swaybars on any of my machines because I did not feel a need. I am not an aggressive driver but can hold my own in the twisties.

Recommend to go a thousand miles or so and see if you have any handling "issues."

Great I am not an aggresive rider either. i cant wait until I get my new bike.

:congrats: on your wise choice!
I had my 2010 RT chock-full of Elkas, and Ron's anti-swaybar up front.
The 2014 is about 90% as quick to respond, with NONE of the harshness of the old bike...
They DID improve the stock setups a lot!

My advice: ride it a while, and then make a decision!

I fully agree with Bob..

... I too had a 2010 with added extras to the front end. The 2014, so far, needs nothing for my riding. Give it a chance and see how you like the stock set=up.
