Replacement key

Has anyone had to replace a Spyder key? I'm wondering how much they are.

If you want to replace the OEM keys; your best choice is an OEM replacement from your dealer. :thumbup:
It's already got the proper chip in it, and they can program It for you.
I have tried to find the right Crypto-chip for my 2014, and have not been successful. :banghead:


But since your bike is a 2012; there's a guy in Hawaii who'll sell you a key, and clone it for you. Al that you need to do, is get it cut locally...
I'll see if I can find a link to him; I lost track of him since he can't clone the 2014 and later keys...

Keys...

on the older models you can get the blanks oline for like seven bucks. Most key shops can clone it but you need a working key. Kwick keys in our neck of the woods carry the blanks and will clone it for $35.00. :thumbup:

I lost one of my keys and need a spare. A clone sounds like a good way to go.

I bought two from E-BAY for $8.00 each, took them to my local Ace hdw. and had them cloned and cut, they work wonderful..
