• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Replaceing the Battery

Texan

My battery died and I ordered a new one, but I haven't had a chance to try changing it out. Too much travel for work. So, how hard is it to change out the battery? Or, what is the easiest way to change it?

Thanks

Not hard, just take the left panel off and everything is right there. I haven't changed mine but I took the battery out when I put my BRP back rest on. You do have to take the screws out of the rear bottom plate above rear wheel to get left panel off-just on left side.

Thnaks Trickie! I probably saw it last year when I made the mount for the bags I put on, but that was a year ago... Old age..... nuff said

I may have to pull the bag on that side to get to it. I am hoping the replacement battery lasts longer than a year.

If you need help Texan, I will help you....I live in Schertz....I had mine out a couple of weeks ago installing the backrest....let me know..
