• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Replace old parts or buy new?

This is awesome to know! I just paid $1.00 for a 09 GS SE5 with 31,000 miles on it. It has some serious sun damage and the cluster gauage is pretty foggy. On the other hand, I have every single maintenance report on it, brand new tires and I just stripped it down to paint it in the coming weekend. I also ordered the RLS Punisher Series Exhaust for it and I look forward to having it for years to come. Once I learn how to do my own maintenance (oil changes, spark plugs etc) I will be a very happy camper.. Any tips from more experienced Spyder ryders on doing all of the maintenance while I have it stripped down?

$1 US Dollar? Just how did you get that sweetheart deal? :yikes:

A good friend of mine bought a 2018 F3 and was selling his 09 GS SE5, no offers and it just sat in the parking lot. I was getting ready to PCS and he asked if I wanted it, he wanted to give it to me for free so we just threw a dollar on the title :D All things considered his wife (Retired MAJ) he is a CW5 so I guess for them it wasn't that big of a deal to just give it away! We used to ride together in Hawaii and I sold my Cruiser before I left, we ended up at the same duty station a year later! Now I'm learning all I can about it so I can do the majority of the work myself.

Well now that is some Cool Beans!!! Leaves you plenty of room to spruce it up and make as many upgrades as you'd like... would sure make a great YouTube series of videos showing how you go about bringing this jewel back from the brink. Think about it!

Get er done now. I highly recommend the Xenon Light kit from BRP, there are a few left on the FleaBay site for 200ish dollars, and they are selling them for around 250 on HotSpyderAccesories.com. The change in lighting is amazing. I am serious, my LED driving lights are going on the Trumpy, I DO NOT NEED THEM on the Can Am now, I will not miss them at all, my night riding test last night went amazingly well, the LED's are coming off. Why stress the charging system, and more charge return for ignition equals better power. If I keep them I need a switch, but with the lumens I am getting off the Xenons? I really no longer need them. I did the power commander 5, the JT Spyder Store Air Intake, and the Two brothers single exhaust, and man does this trike scream.....I did boards and a top box and such, but it came with the saddle bags, and I ride with cameras a lot so the top box made sense.

Anyway, after 6 months, I am never selling my RS-S, its that fun, not selling it...period. I want the new RT Touring machine too, but I am keeping my RS-S. It's a freaking hoot.

MICHAEL Thanks for the clarification, but I thought it was so hard to turn the steering wheel in place. But this alignment is not wheel alignment like a car?развал.jpg
just by translation I can’t understand what laser alignment is.
