• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tonight I pulled the rear tire off my 2009 RS because I need to replace my rear tire. A big thanks to Bob Finless and Lamonster with Lamonster garage for their videos on removing the rear tire! I will be taking my tire to a tire place tomorrow to have them replace the tire (going from the stock tire to the General altimax RT43). My question is I need to replace the O ring that goes on the sprocket hub. I don't have a Cam Am dealer close and I was wondering if I went to NAPA, here in town, if they would have a replacement that fit? It would save me an entire day to not have to go to a can am dealership but I will do it if needed. Thanks.

Yeah...

if they can match it up for you. It acts as a seal so just a matter of finding the right size...good luck...

I know this may go against popular thought on this :banghead::banghead::banghead: ...... But I have had great luck with .... If it ain't broke don't fix it. This goes for the rubber rings on the Oil Plugs also.... BRP doesn't believe in this Theory .....and now we have the " D.E.S.S. ISSUE FROM HELL ". good luck, ......Mike

Yes. On one of my tire replacement excursions I found that O-ring had gotten mangled. It is not a common size, but it can be found locally. As stated, you do need that o-ring, so don't be tempted to run without it. If you can't find it you could make due by putting it back in and using some silicon ATV sealant as a supplement. Not ideal, but doable.

Good luck.

:agree:
If you manage to find one from a local source: please let us know about it!
(Brands and Part Numbers, are doubly-appreciated! :D)
Good Luck!

Too late this time but what I do is have a full set of bearings, seals and that o-ring. So when I take the rear wheel off I can replace whatever looks or feels off. They are not that expensive really and it's a little more than a hour's drive to the dealer for me. The only thing I have ever changed so far is that o-ring twice.
