• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for ideas for a replacement seat w access flap for fuel, was told of corbin and was wondering if theres any other seating that can do the same

Ultimate has an option for an access port made from an aftermarket gas filler door. Feeling adventurous? Here is a DIY page. the fuel door is the fourth one down. https://www.spyderrt.info/u-do-it
There are a number of posts under various names dealing with putting in a fuel access door.
I have also seen, but can't remember exactly where, someone pull the vinyl and padding away and cut the seat pan, reattach the padding and vinyl an a flap is made to get to the gas cap without lifting the seat. The padding and vinyl become the hinge, and they used velcro tape to keep the flap closed.

That is an ….. RT seat …. To my knowledge ( back in 2010 ) I'm the only one to put a Gas / Fuel door on an RS type seat..... I used a Fuel Cap from a Yamaha crotch rocket …… When I was Vending I did sell a couple of " kits " for others to put them on their GS / RS seats ……. Mike :ohyea:

I had a Corbin on my 08. It had the fuel flap...which I thought was very convenient. That said, it may be difficult to find some items for the 09 since it is over ten years old now.

Checking for used can be helpful if you want a Corbin. New, they were almost $1000. They are also very hard (supportive). You either like them or hate them. I am one of the few in the LIKE column. Had them on both my 08 and the 10. 56,000 Corbin miles.
