Nothing I can find says that. On their website it says "These emblems replace the BRP logos on the nose and tail of your Spyder®." And it doesn't look like they're placed over the OEM ones. There were no instructions stating to place them over the OEM emblems. And since the OEMs are sort of rounded off, that wouldn't make sense to apply over them. But I did contact Custom Dynamics, as per their instructions, via email, and never heard back from them. Are Lamont's emblems any better or more substantial then just this thin decal?
I just did a comparison of the emblems we received and the pic of the one on their website. Not knowing the previous years and models, I wonder if the OEM emblem and area around it has been changed as they're noticeably different. The Spyder is even different then the one we got. And it sure doesn't look like it was placed over the BRP emblem.
