• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Replace BRP emblems on nose and rear

I bought the spyder emblems for the front and rear for my Spyder RT. No instructions came with it. What is the best way to replace the BRP emblems with the new spyder emblems. Remove the BRP emblems or put the new over the old. If remove the old what is the best way to get the BRP emblems off without scratching the crome around the emblems?

I also replaced the BRP emblems with Spyders, gently use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm the BRP emblems and they will come off without too much trouble, i used a pair of needle nose pliers and gently grabbed one side while keeping the heat on it as i peeled it away then i cleaned up any small pieces that did not come off initially, do not put the new emblem over the old one. make sure the new emblem is at least inside room temperature before putting it on your bike. it is not too difficult and looks real good.

And I have heard it exfoliates the skin really well....

On a serious note, I remembered Lamonster sells a set as well.

Guess I should have done a little more research and checked out Lamont's emblems. I am not happy with the ones from Custom Dynamics. They're paper thin and not the same size as the BRP emblems that came off, they're noticeably smaller. I think they're way over priced for what you get. There's a little recess/void behind the BRP emblems, especially in the front. These emblems are so thin that they will cave in the first time pressure is put on them. And the front already started to when I applied it.

I was hoping that I didn't miss the chance to let this little feller show off a bit...

The thin decals are made to go on top of the BRP domed ones.
