Removing Switch Console

Has anyone removed there switch console on a RTS? Would like to replace the blank in the center with a switch. I know it has 4 push pins 2 on each side, i remove these, but the console has something holding it right in the back center,you can feel it through the hole were the blank was, no way to get to it
any ideas? :chat:

I removed the entire glovebox to access mine. Not fun, but it seems to be the best way. The center blank should pop (pry) out, but to access the back to get you component installed, you will probably need the glovebox to be out.

I was afraid of that :gaah: I looked at that when I had the panels off! Removing the glove box ! Seems like nothing is easy on the spyder!:dontknow: Lot to go thru for just installing a switch
