There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Removing Love Bugs

Returned from a ryde to Daytona and back and during clean up noticed quite a few love bugs in both radiators. Any suggestions on removing them from a 2016 RTL? Thanks!

Hello there
We live in Tavares

When the Spyderdeveloped a leak in connecting hose between radiators I could not believe hoe much crud was in each one. When I saw it disassembled I realized at least once a year its going to need deep cleaned
Hows the weather there?
Stuck up north with minor surgery at present

I love R&R put another dime in the jukebox baby!

Love Bugs

Thanks for the replies! Will try a combination of WD 40 and water. Already tried flushing with water from the front, air pressure from the rear and neither worked. Dlby, it's been a hot summer! Weather is starting to break, mid 70's first thing in the mornings and "only" low 90's for highs!

I used to take them off my car with very, very hot water and a bug-sponge, but I don't know about radiators.

The effectiveness of hot water is self-evident when you notice how the effectiveness is lost as the water cools. Then it's time to dump the water and replace with HOT water again.

WD40 attracts dirt. :chat: Hydrogen peroxide may be the better route, along with hot water. Tom :spyder:

You will be amazed, but you can take a dryer sheet, wet down the area with the love bugs, and wipe (not rub) the area gently and the bugs will disappear. You may have to do this twice, but when finished then rinse off the suds and bugs and your ride will be good as new. It doesn't make any difference what brand, they all have the same chemicals in them. And remember, don't rub, it might scratch the paint, wet, rub gently, rinse.
