• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Removing glove box lid

I have a 2011 RTS SE5. How do you remove the glove box lid? I attended MountainFest in Morgantown, WV this past weekend and had a Spyder/web airbrushed on the glove box lid. I need to have a body shop clear coat the work in 30 days. I visited one today and he asked how to remove the lid? So help, please...

It appears you have to remove the entire glovebox in order to remove the lid. Page 619 of the Service Manual shows the diagram in the upper right corner of the page and the glovebox removal is on pages 629 and 630 of the manual.

I just removed the whole assembly and took it to my painter. He said that he had no problem
taping up what he didn't want to spray.
