• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Remove GloRyders for Service Appt?

Hey all, I did search but there are a ton of posts about GloRyders. Do you all remove them before going in for service? Because the GloRyders block the lugnuts I assume you do or, does the service department remove/put them back?

I'll ask my guys when I take it in for service but, was just curious what the norm is.

Thanks!

Don't know..!!

but depending on the service they don't normally remove the wheels. If they do they would remove them and re-install them if they know how. If not they will ask you to but if you have doubts remove them before hand..jmo...:dontknow:

As there's a risk of marring the finish on the sides of them if they try to remove the lug nuts without removing the GloRyder housing, I would recommend you remove them first if you expect the wheels to come off during service.

If you have the glo riders, I recommend removing them prior to any service that requires the removal of the wheels. Your just asking for small parts to get lost or mislaid. Prior to installing glo riders, I had the rims changed out. Yes, they lost the plastic :ani29: insert on one of the wheels. Yes, I made them replace it on their dime.

If you leave them on during service and they need to be removed, the dealer may charge yo more labor
