• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Removal of Windshield Bracket

believe me, I searched...

2014 RT: I removed the windshield and the 6 horizontal screws through the 3 arms, but pulling on the bracket, it isn't "giving" at all

any instructions or advice to remove - pull the bracket off

I'm going to paint it with satin black truck bed coating

thanx

Take a small round blunt object and force the sleeves to come out where you took the 6 screws out of, be gentle.

or put one screw partially back in each sleeve and gently tap the screw till you loosen the sleeve, then pull it out.

And ...................... before you paint it plug all the holes so that they don't get paint in them.

and replace the 2 little rubber bumpers Between the bracket and the windshield back where they were

that was it...thanx

those bushings were in there real good with an added a bit of corrosion and I wasn't willing to blindly put force on them

all holes plugged and bumpers de-rubbered

woo hoo

I always clean the outside of the sleeves with emery cloth and use a spot of oil before putting them back in
