Remembering my first Owners Event

I think my first one was SITS in 2009(?) Not long after I bought my 2008 GS. Anybody on here remember the Gentleman was certain TN was not a helmet state and did not get far, when he got nailed by the law. The next year he had a helmet covered in hair. Then second or third version of Spyderfeast in Cuba with 300 Spyders ? lamoster BBQ, Owners event are all great fun and great people. If you can make them, you will enjoy them.
Thanks for all the great time by all the sponsors. I am no longer able to travel much, but wish the best travels to all of you.

Looking at a run up through PA, NY, maybe up to the Thousand Islands to check on friends, been trying to do that for 3 years now.

this is my list, too. best one so far was Durango last year, as my daughter came along as my riding buddy. we reprised a trip we'd made 38 years ago, two-up on two wheels!!! already registered for Spyderfest '15 ... and counting.

Chris, in2010 it was Spyders In the Smokies put on by Spyder Talk and Lamont had a BBQ. The Owners Event was in Chicago that year.

I said that the Smoky event was my first event but really I went to an event in Wisconsin that was put on by Robs Performance, the dealer who now does Spyder Rendevous. It was a Spyder event but there were less than 10 Spyders there. That is where I met Butch and Paula and Kelly. We all met up in Gatlinburg for the Smoky event and have been friends with them ever since.

We're new to the world of Spyder, but are considering going to Spyderquest 2015. Maybe you can fill us in on the do's and don'ts we should expect or avoid.

I guess I'll have to say Spyderfest 2015 will be my first event on MY Spyder, though I've been a +1 at both Owners Events in Durango and at Spyderfest 2014. Looking forward to attending these events on a Spyder of my own!
