There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There are moments you never forget in your life. Some good like when you first met your wife, when your kids were born, and your first ride on your Spyder. Some are burned into your brain with pain like when your brother died, or your parents, and when JFK died. September 11, 2001 is one of the painful ones that I will always remember and this country will never forget. We owe it to the victims of that cowardly act to constantly remind ourselves and others of that day. NEVER FORGET OR FORGIVE.

I will remember exactly what I was doing that day for the rest of my life. Like the song goes, we got sucker punched. I couldn't wait to get back on a plane to show the enemy that they didn't scare me from flying again.

That morning, was on a message board like this one. All the sudden they were saying to turn on the TV. What was shown was so sad, so horrible!
More posts started rolling in about the Pentagon getting hit and then a plane crashed into a field. Nobody knew the connection to any of this at the time. It was happening right before our eyes.
Then someone posted about Ben Laden with a link to his history. Oh my :cus:, Hubby is in Saudi Arabia! Has been working there for a few years. Tried to call him.
All I got was "The country is not taking any calls at this time." Seriously. No joke.
Called the company as was told everyone was all right. How could they get through and I couldn't?
It was two days before Hubby and I could talk. Those two days were hard. Communication had been shut down going in or out of the country.
A few months later, his company pulled their people out of that country, couple months after that, terrorists took over the compound Hubby had stayed at. One of his buddies got killed that day.
I have no direct involvement with the Twin Towers, but I still get upset on 9/11. Hope writing this out will ease the angst in my gut I get every year at this time.
9/11 and 12/7 are both very sad days. God Bless...
